Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ezekiel Marley (ranked 1 p4p, 56 weight class) and Kristoph Kringle (ranked 1 p4p, 8 weight class). Marley comes to the cage accompanied by WANTED. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 35 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ezekiel Marley! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kristoph Kringle! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Kringle throws a body kick despite being completely out of range enabling Marley to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Kristoph Kringle has been cut. A jab lands there for Marley. Marley cracks Kringle with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kringle looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Marley finish him?
Marley throws a lazy uppercut
and Kringle finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marley fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kringle looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kringle throws the kick towards the body but Marley avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kringle misses with a looping right. A little feinted left hand from Marley on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Marley swings widly with a right hand
enabling Kringle to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Ezekiel Marley has been cut. Marley uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kringle. Marley blocks a head kick by Kringle.
Marley throws a quick counter kick to the body but Kringle avoids it. Marley blocks a jab. Marley is looking to counter punch. Kringle throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Marley counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That has opened up Kristoph Kringle's cut even more.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Kringle misses with the body kick and Marley counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Marley closes the distance looking to clinch and Kringle counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Marley gets off balance looking for a body kick letting Kringle counter with a right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. It looked like Marley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Marley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kringle throws out the jab. Kringle misses with the body kick and Marley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The cut above Kristoph Kringle's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Marley lands a nice shot to the body.
Kringle throws a half hearted mid kick. Marley appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marley tries a head kick but it misses.
Kringle throws a leg kick that misses. Marley throws an off balance right hand
and Kringle counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kringle throws a push kick but Marley slaps the foot to one side. Marley was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Kringle connects with a right hand. Marley shakes it off. Marley throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kringle counters with a nice kick to the body. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ezekiel Marley dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Marley moves out of range of the strikes. Marley is looking to counter punch. Kringle slips under a jab from Marley. Ezekiel Marley is winning the standup battle so far. Marley clinches with his opponent.
Kringle presses Marley against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Marley using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Kringle lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Marley backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Marley creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Marley misses with a punch on the inside.

Kringle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kringle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marley.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kringle misses with an uppercut
and Marley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Marley misses with a hook
and Kringle makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Marley really felt that one! Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Marley moves out of range of the body kick. Marley thinks about countering with a body kick. Marley scores with a spinning back kick! Marley stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kringle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley gets a clinch. Kringle breaks the clinch.
Marley throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Kringle finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. A lazy body kick from Kringle letting Marley counter with a right hand.
Kristoph Kringle's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. We've been told by Marley's head coaches at Convicted Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kringle throws a lazy body kick enabling Marley to counter with a crisp jab.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kristoph Kringle's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ezekiel Marley! Ezekiel Marley retains his heavyweight title! A relieved looking Ezekiel Marley thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
