Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Janko Godwin (ranked 13 p4p, 48 weight class) and Jim Babcock (ranked 3 p4p, 8 weight class). Babcock has chosen Raiders Attack Vault City as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jim Babcock enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Janko Godwin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Babcock!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godwin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
We've been hearing reports that Godwin has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Babcock misses with a punch to the body.

That was a close round but I would say that Janko Godwin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Babcock fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Godwin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Janko Godwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
