Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cormac McCarthy (ranked 141 p4p, 49 weight class) and Janko Godwin (ranked 22 p4p, 8 weight class). Janko Godwin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cormac McCarthy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Janko Godwin!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Godwin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McCarthy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well McCarthy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
