Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Rozhkov (ranked 158 p4p, 240 weight class) and Bronze Bomber Chai (ranked 22 p4p, 34 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Rozhkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Bronze Bomber Chai!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rozhkov closes the distance and clinches up with Chai, looking for a takedown. Rozhkov pushes Chai against the cage but Chai circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chai let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

It looks like Alexander Rozhkov has been cut.
Nice takedown defense from Chai. No joy for Rozhkov on that attempt.

Chai appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rozhkov throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Chai because Rozhkov loaded up on that one.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
