Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mikheil Berishvili (ranked 925 p4p, 915 weight class) and Dallas Flanders (ranked 88 p4p, 87 weight class). Berishvili's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Acharuli Gandagana. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mikheil Berishvili!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dallas Flanders!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Berishvili closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Flanders is trying to escape back to his feet but Berishvili uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Flanders tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Berishvili wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Flanders manages to get back to half guard.
Flanders is doing well to control the position and prevent Berishvili from advancing to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Berishvili is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Flanders defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Berishvili is trying to control the action in half guard but Flanders is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Berishvili is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Flanders sees it coming and defends easily.

Berishvili is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Flanders has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Flanders!
Flanders wants to stand but Berishvili has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Berishvili has his foot on Flanders's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Flanders works his way back into a safe position though.
Flanders wanted to stand there but Berishvili had control of the position.
Berishvili working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Flanders doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Flanders manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Berishvili has control of Flanders's left arm, preventing Flanders from doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

and Flanders cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Berishvili instigates a clinch.
Flanders misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Berishvili has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Flanders avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Berishvili has Flanders pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Flanders manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikheil Berishvili. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Flanders lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Berishvili wants to take the fight to the mat but Flanders manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Berishvili turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Berishvili manages to end up in side control.

A close round but Dallas Flanders will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

letting Flanders counter with a right hand.

and Flanders counters with a nice right hand that sends Berishvili toppling to the canvas! Berishvili scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Flanders finish him?!
Berishvili lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Berishvili tries to clinch there but Flanders circles away.
Flanders doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Berishvili throws a lazy uppercut
and Flanders cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Berishvili shoots in looking for a takedown but Flanders manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Berishvili's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Berishvili tries to clinch but Flanders moves away
and Flanders counters with a crisp right that sends Berishvili to the canvas! Flanders follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dallas Flanders!
After winning the bout, Dallas Flanders thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
