Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 44 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kjetil Olsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Death Knell!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knell shoots in for a takedown but Olsen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Olsen misses with a straight right.
Knell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Olsen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Death Knell has been cut.
Olsen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nice takedown defense from Olsen. No joy for Knell on that attempt.
Olsen throws a quick counter kick to the body but Knell avoids it.
Knell takes a jab right on the kisser.
Some wild striking there from Knell.
Knell feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Olsens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Kjetil Olsen has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knell tests Olsen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Olsen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Knell sprawling to the canvas! Knell rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Olsen finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Knell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Olsen is fending him off so far but Knell persists. Nope, Olsen circles away and we're back to standing.
Kjetil Olsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Death Knell.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Olsen explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Knell looks winded!
Olsen throws a combination that misses
letting Knell counter with a right hand.
Olsen lands a nice looking body kick.
Olsen walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Knell drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Olsen swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Knell's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kjetil Olsen!
