Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Mickey Cowan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otto McBean! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cowan throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and McBean counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cowan! McBean trying to control the position but Cowan is working away.
McBean is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cowan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
McBean looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McBean trying to control the position but Cowan is working away.
