Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Isamu San Chai (ranked 24201 p4p, 24350 weight class) and Irlav Jarol (ranked 517 p4p, 486 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Isamu San Chai! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Irlav Jarol! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jarol slips under a jab. Chai tests Jarol's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jarol closes the distance and pushes Chai back into the cage. Jarol connects with a nasty looking knee right to Chai's face.
Chai lands an uppercut. Jarol lands a nice uppercut. Chai pushes Jarol back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Chai goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Chai scores with an uppercut up the middle. Jarol has a couple of punches blocked by Chai.

Chai has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Jarol looks winded! Chai prevents a body shot from Jarol. Chai lands a body punch in the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Chai lands with a left to the head. Jarol tries to land knees in the clinch but Chai avoids the damage to the body. Chai lands a nice uppercut. A short uppercut from Chai. Chai throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jarols head. Chai lands with a short punch from the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. A short left from Chai. Chai gets through Jarol's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Chai scores with a shoulder strike. Chai working some nice short punches in the clinch. Jarol with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Jarol looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Jarol blocks a body shot from Chai. Jarol takes a shot to the head. Chai lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Jarol with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Chai throws a head punch that misses. Chai lands a body punch. A nice right hand lands inside from Chai. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A short uppercut from Chai.
Jarol is rocked! Jarol tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chai's elbow. Jarol misses with some punches.
Chai lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Chai throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jarols head. Jarol is still on wobbly legs! Can Chai finish him? Chai softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Jarol takes a shot to the head. Chai throws a punch but it's blocked by Jarol. Chai lands a hook to the side of the head. Chai creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Jarol crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Jarol face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Chai takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Isamu San Chai! Isamu San Chai retains his light heavyweight title! Our winner, Isamu San Chai, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
