Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lemuel Denver (ranked 51 p4p, 65 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 6 p4p, 9 weight class). Denver kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Марш нової армії. Drago has chosen Drago Theme as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Denver fails with a takedown attempt.
Denver shoots in for a double leg but Drago sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Drago is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Denver rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Drago counters with a crisp right hand that drops Denver! Drago lets Denver back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Lemuel Denver has been cut.

Denver throws a right hand that misses
and Drago rattles Denver with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Denver tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Drago dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Denver stiff and motionless on the mat!
