Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seamus O Brien (ranked 297 p4p, 512 weight class) and Haisam Moghadam (ranked 41 p4p, 68 weight class). O Brien comes into the arena with Pantera - The Great Southern Trendkill blaring out of the sound system. Seamus O Brien had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seamus O Brien!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Haisam Moghadam!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brien takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
O Brien rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moghadam moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Moghadam gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
O Brien breaks from the clinch.
Moghadam tries to land a front kick but O Brien steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
O Brien scores with a one two! Moghadam had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Moghadam connects with a nice looking jab.
O Brien lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Moghadam has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
O Brien lands a head kick. Moghadam smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
O Brien throws out a loose jab but Moghadam uses good head movement to avoid it.
O Brien fails to land with a series of punches.
Moghadam counters with a body kick.
Moghadam throws a push kick but O Brien slaps the foot to one side.
O Brien throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Brien swings and misses with a hook to the body.
O Brien thuds his right hand into Moghadam's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
O Brien jabbing away but nothing is landing.
O Brien rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Moghadam counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Moghadam misses with a wild body shot.
A jab from O Brien misses.
O Brien walks into a left hand.
O Brien throws out a loose jab but Moghadam uses good head movement to avoid it.
A good leg kick by O Brien.
Moghadam throws a low kick but it's checked well by O Brien.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
O Brien swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
O Brien misses with an uppercut.
A little jabbing left from Moghadam on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
O Brien is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Moghadam.
Jab by Moghadam.
O Brien throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Moghadam counters with a crisp right that sends O Brien to the canvas! Moghadam follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Haisam Moghadam!
