Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Reino Ruttu (ranked 140 p4p, 123 weight class) and Samson Buddha (ranked 23 p4p, 20 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reino Ruttu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samson Buddha! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruttu throws a hook to the side of Buddha's head but Buddha sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ruttu turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Ruttu waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Buddha. Ruttu misses with a left hand and Buddha counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Buddha tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Ruttu keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Buddha. Buddha with a nice cross. Buddha throws a body shot but no joy. Buddha is looking to land body kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ruttu lands a nice shot to the body.
Ruttu takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Buddha swings and misses with a shot to the body and Ruttu counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruttu misses with an uppercut. Buddha saw that one coming. Ruttu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Buddha was well out of range. Poor timing from Ruttu. Buddha clobbers Ruttu with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. A slow jab from Ruttu misses its intended target. Ruttu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ruttu throws an overhand right that lands on Buddha's shoulder, as Buddha tries to avoid the shot. Nice body punch from Ruttu. Buddha throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice jab there from Ruttu. Ruttu scoring well with a low kick there.
Reino Ruttu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ruttu throws the left hand but Buddha avoids the punch easily. Ruttu thows a leg kick but Buddha checks it and Buddha counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Buddha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ruttu swivels though and keeps the full guard. Buddha drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Buddha jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ruttu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Buddha passes into half guard. Buddha is trying to work for a kimura but Ruttu is defending well.
Buddha with the ground and pound but Ruttu uses the opportunity to regain guard. Buddha sitting in guard here, content to control. Buddha thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Buddha is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Buddha pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ruttu is keeping the position for now. Ruttu looking for a sweep. Not yet Ruttu, not yet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Buddha slips nicely into half guard. Buddha wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ruttu keeps working. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Samson Buddha will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Ruttu walks into a left hand. Ruttu throws a shot from downtown. Buddha moves away and avoids it. Ruttu attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Ruttu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Buddha looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A nice leg kick lands there from Buddha. Ruttu throws out a leg kick but Buddha moves out of range and Ruttu only half commits. Buddha ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A chopping leg kick lands by Ruttu. Buddha lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ruttu at a distance.
Ruttu wants to land a leg kick but Buddha is out of range. Good exchange - Ruttu coming out on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Buddha. Ruttu does a little dance to reset his feet. Ruttu looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Ruttu misses with a jab to the body
and Buddha counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Buddha lands a nice short elbow. Buddha not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Buddha is trying to work for a kimura but Ruttu is defending well.
Buddha is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ruttu has managed to free his arm - good work. Buddha is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruttu keeping hold of Buddha's head, controlling as best he can. Buddha is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Buddha thows a huge punch but Ruttu dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buddha has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ruttu defend it? Buddha steps over the head and cranks it - Ruttu is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Buddha!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Samson Buddha! A very excited looking Samson Buddha made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
