Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Isamu San Chai (ranked 24275 p4p, 24293 weight class) and Vilmer Stridh (ranked 551 p4p, 530 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Isamu San Chai! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vilmer Stridh! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stridh misses with a combination
and Chai counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Vilmer Stridh has been cut. Stridh lands a lovely overhand right. Chai throws a nice looking combination but Stridh bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stridh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chai forces Stridh back against the cage and clinches. Stridh misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Chai scores with a shoulder strike. Stridh takes a shot to the head. Chai has a couple of punches blocked by Stridh.
Stridh works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Chai lands a right hand. Chai lands a left hand that snaps the head of Stridh backwards. A nice right hand lands inside from Chai.
Stridh is rocked! Chai creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Stridh crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Stridh face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Chai takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Isamu San Chai! Isamu San Chai retains his light heavyweight title! An out of breath Isamu San Chai thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
