Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Rose (ranked 3 p4p, 24 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 1 p4p, 4 weight class). Rose comes to the cage accompanied by Raining Blood. Drago is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Drago Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Rose swings widly with a right hand
and Rose takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Thomas Rose has been cut.
Rose throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Drago counters with a series of strikes. Rose will be more careful next time no doubt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rose swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Drago swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Drago counters with a nice right hand that sends Rose toppling to the canvas! Rose scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Drago finish him?!

and Drago counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
