Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Presley Chai (ranked 7 p4p, 637 weight class) and Mabahong Tae (ranked 2 p4p, 77 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Chai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Chai is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Tae just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Chai has gone limp and this one is over!

Mabahong Tae is the new middleweight champion!
After the fight, Mabahong Tae was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
