Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Baroza (ranked 390 p4p, 91 weight class) and Jaylen Stout (ranked 34 p4p, 6 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Baroza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jaylen Stout!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baroza throws a right and a left that Stout avoids nicely.
Stout is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Baroza misses the target.
Baroza misses with a looping right.
Stout tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Baroza throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stout sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Stout instigates a clinch.

Baroza breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A big right from Baroza misses.
Stout staying out of range there.
Stout tries to clinch up but Baroza circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stout closes the distance and clinches.
Stout tries to pull guard but Baroza holds him up against the cage and eventually Stout drops back down to his feet.
Baroza tries to work over Stout's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Stout tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Baroza misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Baroza really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Baroza misses with some punches.
Stout is trying to pull guard but Baroza turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Jorge Baroza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaylen Stout.
Baroza's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Stout jumps guard but Baroza stands there with Stout around his waist. Stout gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Baroza misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Stout looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Stout fails to pull guard.

Baroza breaks the clinch.
Stout displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Baroza throws out the jab.
Stout tries to clinch up.
Baroza definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Stout tries to clinch but Baroza is having none of it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stout looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stout uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baroza.
Stout wants to counter with a clinch but Baroza pushes him away.

Baroza pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stout is looking to clinch.
Baroza circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stout tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baroza swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A swing and a miss from Baroza.
Baroza throws a shot from downtown. Stout moves away and avoids it.
Baroza throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Stout closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Stout pulls guard effortlessly.

Stout had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Baroza defends it easily.
Stout looking to hit a scissor sweep but Baroza is one step ahead there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Stout working for a triangle but Baroza defends it easily.
Baroza looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Baroza is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Stout has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Baroza is looking to defend but Stout has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Baroza! Stout pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Baroza taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jaylen Stout!
