Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Noeigati (ranked 229 p4p, 322 weight class) and Paavo Talvela (ranked 36 p4p, 46 weight class). Noeigati comes to the cage accompanied by Cremation of Sam McGee. Talvela has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Benjamin Noeigati!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paavo Talvela!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noeigati scores with a sloppy right hand. Talvela should have avoided that one.
We've been told by Noeigati's head coaches at FIGHT FOUNDERS (CA) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Talvela misses with a leg kick
and Noeigati connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Noeigati cracks Talvela with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Talvela looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Noeigati finish him?
Talvela is rocked!
Noeigati throws a lazy uppercut
and Talvela counters with a slapping leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Talvela has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Noeigati throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Talvela stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Noeigati misses with an uppercut. Talvela saw that one coming.
Talvela shoots in and drives through. Noeigati sprawls well.
Talvela changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Noeigati tries to avoid it but Talvela manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Noeigati to the ground. Noeigati escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Talvela avoids the body shot from Noeigati.
Noeigati connects with a right hand. Talvela shakes it off.
Noeigati looks to throw the jab but Talvela is out of range.
Noeigati throws a right hand that Talvela ducks under and follows up with a left that Talvela also avoids with ease.
A looping hook to the body misses from Noeigati. Talvela does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Noeigati counters with a low kick, right behind Talvela 's knee.
Noeigati has closed the distance and engaged Talvela in a clinch.
Noeigati makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Noeigati swings wildly with an uppercut but Talvela uses good head movement to avoid it.

Talvela lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Noeigati backwards.

Talvela swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Noeigati to counter with a crisp jab.

Talvela closes this distance looking for a takedown but Noeigati circles away.
Noeigati swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

and Noeigati finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Talvela throws a nice looking combination but Noeigati bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Talvela takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Noeigati sends Talvela crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Noeigati is motioning to the referee to let Talvela up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Talvela is still on wobbly legs! Can Noeigati finish him?

Talvela seems to have recovered his senses.
Noeigati stuffs the takedown.
Noeigati thuds his right hand into Talvela's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Talvela throws a body shot but no joy.
Talvela shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Noeigati defends it nicely.
Noeigati is looking to counter punch.

Noeigati cracks Talvela with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Noeigati has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Talvela to stand back up!
Noeigati ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Talvela out cold! The fight is over!
