Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Siuta (ranked 534 p4p, 685 weight class) and Francesco Monroe (ranked 72 p4p, 91 weight class). Siuta's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "Rock Superstar" Cypress Hill. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jan Siuta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Francesco Monroe!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siuta needs to keep his hands up - Monroe had a free shot at his head there.
Siuta uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Monroe.
Siuta rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Monroe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Monroe keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Siuta misses with a hook. Monroe ducked under it nicely.
Monroe missing with a left hand there. Siuta was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Siuta walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Monroe ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Monroe throws the left hand but Siuta avoids the punch easily.
Francesco Monroe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Siuta jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Monroe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Siuta has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Monroe drops his hands momentarily and Siuta takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Monroe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Siuta tries to bum rush Monroe with a series of wild strikes but Monroe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Siuta misses with a wild body shot.
Siuta will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Despite the aggression on Monroe's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Siuta lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Francesco Monroe has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Siuta clinches with his opponent.
Monroe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Siuta cracks Monroe with an open hand slap.
Monroe is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Siuta had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
A big left from Monroe misses.
A little feinted left hand from Siuta on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Siuta avoids the body shot from Monroe.
Monroe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
It looked like Siuta wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Monroe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Siuta throws a body punch but Monroe moves out of range.
Siuta throws a right hand that Monroe ducks under and follows up with a left that Monroe also avoids with ease.
Siuta connects with a good right hand that stumbles Monroe. Monroe circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Monroe misses with a shot to the body
and Monroe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Monroe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Monroe throws an overhand right that lands on Siuta's shoulder, as Siuta tries to avoid the shot.

We've been told by Siuta's head coaches at Ironbound MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Siuta cracks Monroe with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Siuta has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Monroe to stand back up!
Monroe is rocked!

and Siuta counters with a huge right that knocks Monroe out cold! Siuta is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

After winning the bout, Jan Siuta thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
