Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yaroslav Rurik (ranked 455 p4p, 764 weight class) and Frankie Venegas (ranked 38 p4p, 69 weight class). Rurik has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Frankie Venegas struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Yaroslav Rurik has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

and Rurik counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Venegas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Venegas walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Rurik closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Venegas out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
