Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Davdio Branko (ranked 993 p4p, 511 weight class) and Nick Jackson (ranked 91 p4p, 44 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 33 - 35 - 0, fighting out of London, Davdio Branko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Jackson! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Branko shoots in for a double leg but Jackson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jackson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Branko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Branko is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jackson sees it coming and defends easily. Branko is working for a submission of some sort.
Branko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jackson wants to get back to full guard. Branko is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Branko seems to be working for a kimura but Jackson defends the submission attempt. Branko seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Branko seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Jackson lands a couple of elbows. Branko is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jackson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Jackson chips away with some ground and pound. Branko looking for subs off his back but Jackson has passed one foot through into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jackson connects with a nice short shot to Branko's temple. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Jackson working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Branko regains half guard. Branko looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jackson lands a nice short elbow. Branko wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.

Branko looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson drops an elbow to the side of Branko's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Branko looking for subs from the bottom but Jackson mounts him! Branko bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Branko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Branko has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted. Jackson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Branko gets back to full guard.
Branko has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jackson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Branko. Branko is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson working the head with strikes. Jackson is chipping away with strikes.
Jackson scores with punches from side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Branko tries to improve position but can't. Jackson working the body and head with strikes. Branko tries to buck Jackson off but Jackson is having none of it. Jackson is working Branko over with some ground and pound from side control.
Branko is rocked! Jackson lands a strong strike to the head of Branko. That's dazed him! Jackson looking to finish here. Branko is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Jackson lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Jackson! During a confident post fight interview, Nick Jackson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
