Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Porthos Knox (ranked 538 p4p, 313 weight class) and Oswaldo Fadda Jr (ranked 74 p4p, 49 weight class). The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fadda Jr looks to land a right hand but Knox moved out of range.
Fadda Jr keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Knox connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fadda Jr. Fadda Jr circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Knox has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Knox throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fadda Jr sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fadda Jr shoots in but Knox avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Porthos Knox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oswaldo Fadda Jr.
Fadda Jr takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Knox moves in looking to clinch but Fadda Jr pushes him off.

Porthos Knox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fadda Jr connects with a crisp jab.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Knox, as that shot connected.
Knox takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fadda Jr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fadda Jr is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Knox is trying to escape and Fadda Jr transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Knox is forced to tap! Nice work there by Fadda Jr! Very nice indeed!
