Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Roberto (ranked 120 p4p, 949 weight class) and Marek Cervenka (ranked 12 p4p, 91 weight class). Roberto comes to the cage accompanied by Samba de Roda. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paulo Roberto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marek Cervenka!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberto keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cervenka.
Roberto tries to close the distance and clinch but Cervenka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cervenka shoots in looking for a takedown but Roberto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cervenka's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Roberto gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cervenka to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Roberto wants to get back to his feet but Cervenka is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cervenka gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Roberto takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
