Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Presley Chai!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mabahong Tae!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tae takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Mabahong Tae has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chai.
Tae throws a counter combo.
Tae misses with a two punch combination.
Tae tries to move into range but Chai moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Chai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Chai moves into the clinch successfully.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Chai scores with a shot to the side of Tae's head.
Tae breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed right hand from Chai misses the target.
Chai moves out of range of the strikes.
A quick step to the side and Chai tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chai lands a jab.
Tae swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tae staying out of range there.
Tae lands an overhand right.
Chai fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mabahong Tae seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tae lands a right hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chai. Tae does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chai displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tae throws out the jab.
Chai wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Tae looks to score with a jab to the body but Chai is just out of range.
Chai appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Chai has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Chai takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tae drops Chai with a huge uppercut! Chai drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Tae is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Mabahong Tae started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
