Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kongthoranee Sitsongrit (ranked 93 p4p, 396 weight class) and Rokken Roll (ranked 13 p4p, 48 weight class). Rokken Roll has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kongthoranee Sitsongrit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sitsongrit was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Roll shoots for a double leg takedown but Sitsongrit sprawls well. He's pushed Roll's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sitsongrit fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Roll has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A punch lands to the side of Sitsongrit 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kongthoranee Sitsongrit.
I think Sitsongrit has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
