Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. (ranked 827 p4p, 1948 weight class) and Moritz Zimmerman (ranked 107 p4p, 248 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thibodeaux Jr. might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rags2Riches. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dakota Thibodeaux Jr.!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 28 - 1, fighting out of London, Moritz Zimmerman!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux Jr. waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Zimmerman.
And Zimmerman tries to counter it with a takedown but Thibodeaux Jr. pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Zimmerman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Thibodeaux Jr. tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Zimmerman cranks the arm and Thibodeaux Jr. screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Thibodeaux Jr., who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
