Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Hector Berlioz (ranked 24290 p4p, 24361 weight class) and Isamu San Chai (ranked 528 p4p, 493 weight class). Berlioz comes to the cage accompanied by March to the Scaffold. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Isamu San Chai enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Hector Berlioz!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Isamu San Chai!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai connects with the punch.
Berlioz feints and then cracks Chai's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Chai down.
Berlioz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Berlioz staying out of range there.
Berlioz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Berlioz looks to score with a jab to the body but Chai is just out of range.
Berlioz throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chai on the side of the head.
Chai fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chai scores with a hook to the body. Berlioz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Chai tries a low kick but Berlioz avoids it.
Berlioz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Chai to score with a decent uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Berlioz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Hector Berlioz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chai scores with a jab to the head.
Chai misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Berlioz.

Berlioz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Chai throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Berlioz sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Berlioz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Chai tries to clinch but Berlioz is having none of it.
Chai moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

As Chai looks to move away, Berlioz throws a big counter combo but Chai just gets out of the way.
Berlioz misses with a hook

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Isamu San Chai will probably get the nod.
That's time! Berlioz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Berlioz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Berlioz gets tackled into the cage by Chai. Chai maintains the clinch.
Berlioz wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Chai tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Berlioz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Isamu San Chai seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Nice shot lands for Berlioz.

Oh Berlioz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chai slips under a jab from Berlioz.
Berlioz seems to have got his legs back now.
Chai pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Chai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chai uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Berlioz.
Berlioz lands a lovely overhand right.
Chai cracks Berlioz with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Berlioz is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Berlioz is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Berlioz could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Isamu San Chai!

Our winner, Isamu San Chai, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
