Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miroslav Drozd (ranked 1074 p4p, 1612 weight class) and Cormac Mac Airt (ranked 111 p4p, 162 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Miroslav Drozd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 2, fighting out of London, Cormac Mac Airt!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drozd looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Drozd lands a really nice looking cross but Mac Airt seems unphased.
Mac Airt takes a swing at Drozd's ribcage but misses.

Mac Airt tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

After winning the bout, Cormac Mac Airt thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
