Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, KO Jacckson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Zane Yardow!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacckson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jacckson misses with a wild body shot.
Jacckson misses with a leg kick.
Yardow swats away the attempt to clinch by Jacckson.
Yardow unleashes a big counter combination but Jacckson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Nice sprawl there from Yardow as Jacckson shoots in.

and Yardow counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jacckson lands a really nice looking cross but Yardow seems unphased.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

No joy there for Yardow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Yardow displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jacckson throws out the jab.
Jacckson misses with a takedown attempt - Yardow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for KO Jacckson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

KO Jacckson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jacckson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Yardow's guard.

Yardow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jacckson.

Jacckson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Yardow's guard.

Yardow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jacckson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jacckson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yardow is controlling him.
Jacckson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Yardow wants to stand but Jacckson is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Yardow stops Jacckson from standing up.

Jacckson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yardow sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Jacckson doesn't manage to clinch there - Yardow circles away.
Jacckson is looking to clinch but Yardow is avoiding it.

Jacckson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jacckson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yardow keeps working.

Jacckson tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The ground and pound from Jacckson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Jacckson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Yardow's shoulder. That is not cool.
Yardow is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Jacckson wants to control but Yardow is keeping him busy.

Jacckson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Jacckson throwing strikes but Yardow manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yardow decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Jacckson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yardow throws out the jab.
Jacckson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Jacckson rushes Yardow and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Yardow misses the shot to the body.
Jacckson cracks Yardow with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jacckson fails to land the takedown.
Jacckson misses with a left hand
and Yardow counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jacckson drives through and clinches with Yardow against the cage.
Yardow lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jacckson backwards.
Jacckson throws a punch but it's blocked by Yardow.
Jacckson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Yardow manages to break the clinch.
Jacckson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yardow's waist but Yardow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jacckson off to one side.

That's nine minutes gone in the round.

Yardow lands a big uppercut and Jacckson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jacckson looks OK. Yardow waves Jacckson back to his feet!
Yardow misses the jab.
Jacckson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yardow circles away quickly and effectively.
It seemed like Yardow was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Jacckson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Yardow manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Yardow has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Jacckson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Yardow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jacckson manages to avoid it.
Jacckson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Yardow manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Yardow takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jacckson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Yardow on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jacckson throws a shot from downtown. Yardow moves away and avoids it.
Yardow throws out a counter right but Jacckson avoids it with no problem.
Jacckson missing with a left hand there. Yardow was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sloppy strikes from Jacckson. Those never looked like landing.
Yardow wants to clinch up but Jacckson keeps it at a distance.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Zane Yardow will probably get the nod.
That's time! Jacckson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jacckson throws a shot from downtown. Yardow moves away and avoids it.
Jacckson tries to clinch but Yardow moves out of range.
A countering left hand to the body from Yardow misses.
Yardow lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Jacckson with a poor takedown
and Yardow cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jacckson misses with a double jab
and Yardow counters with a left right combination that sends Jacckson crashing to the mat - Yardow wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Jacckson out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zane Yardow!
Our winner, Zane Yardow, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
