Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sitsongrit.
We've been told by Sitsongrit's head coaches at Sitsongrit Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sitsongrit takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sitsongrit misses with a hook.

Ridley throws an overhand right that lands on Sitsongrit's shoulder, as Sitsongrit tries to avoid the shot.

Sitsongrit is looking to wear down Ridley with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Sitsongrit connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Horrible takedown attempt by Ridley or perhaps it was just good defense by Sitsongrit, which made it look bad.
Swag Sitsongrit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Ridley.

Ridley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sitsongrit was well out of range. Poor timing from Ridley.

and Sitsongrit counters with an inside leg kick.
A low kick lands for Sitsongrit.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sitsongrit scores with a punch to the head.

Sitsongrit scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sitsongrit works the jab nicely.
Sitsongrit misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ridley.
Ridley takes a swing at Sitsongrit's ribcage but misses.
Sitsongrit getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ridley is still on wobbly legs! Can Sitsongrit finish him?
Sitsongrit cracks Ridley with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ridley tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sitsongrit pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ridley is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Swag Sitsongrit!
Swag Sitsongrit retains his lightweight title!
Swag Sitsongrit decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
