Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Horus Egyptian (ranked 571 p4p, 922 weight class) and Rodrigo Carioni (ranked 68 p4p, 116 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

and Egyptian counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Egyptian throws a lazy uppercut
and Carioni counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Egyptian defending well as Carioni loads up on a big left hand.
Egyptian looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That kick from Egyptian tenderised Carioni's leg. Carioni is trying to keep his angry face on.
Carioni misses with a wild body shot.
Egyptian was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

It looks like Rodrigo Carioni has been cut.

Egyptian fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Carioni square on the jaw! Damn, Carioni is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

In his post fight interview, Horus Egyptian started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
