Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 195 p4p, 417 weight class) and James Darwin (ranked 29 p4p, 57 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Dux! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Darwin! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darwin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dux quickly recovers to half guard.
Darwin is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Darwin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Dux trying to control from the bottom.
Dux is trying to stand.
Darwin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Darwin landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Darwin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dux defending well though. Dux keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Dux trying to hold on to Darwin's head to control him but Darwin postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darwin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dux avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Darwin.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Dux has one foot on Darwin's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Darwin misses with a takedown attempt and Dux counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dux gets caught flat footed, as Darwin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dux has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Darwin off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Frank Dux is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Darwin slips a jab from Dux. Darwin throws a fast counter high kick but Dux manages to duck under it in time. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A looping hook to the body misses from Dux. Darwin does a little dance to reset his feet. Darwin ducks right into an uppercut from Dux.
 It looks like James Darwin has been cut. Dux fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Nice sprawl there from Dux as Darwin shoots in. Darwin avoids the body shot from Dux.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Dux. Darwin does a little dance to reset his feet. Dux tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Darwin was well out of range. Poor timing from Dux. Darwin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dux avoids it really well and circles away. Dux swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Frank Dux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Darwin. Darwin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Darwin scores with a takedown into Dux's guard. Darwin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dux looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dux preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Darwin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dux's head. Darwin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Darwin has gone for a leg lock! Dux slips out almost immediately though and dives into Darwin's guard.
 The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dux wanted to stand there but Darwin had control of the position. Darwin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dux looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Darwin seems keen to control Dux's posture. Dux has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Dux wants to stand but Darwin is controlling his posture from full guard.
Dux stands and steps away. Darwin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Darwin checks the leg kick nicely there.
Dux throws a jab but it's blocked by Darwin. Darwin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dux counters with a nice uppercut. Darwin fails with the takedown and Darwin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Dux dominated that round. The cut man is working on James Darwin's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Dux ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Darwin moves away. Dux misses with a few strikes there.
Darwin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dux to score with a decent uppercut. Darwin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Darwin shoots in for a takedown but Dux shows good takedown defense. An attempted straight right counter from Dux misses the target. Darwin darts in looking for a takedown but Dux gets double underhooks and turns Darwin into the cage. Frank Dux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Darwin.
Dux rushes Darwin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darwin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dux prevents it.
Dux lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Darwin or not. Darwin prevents a body shot from Dux. Darwin tries to pull guard but Dux forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Dux pushes Darwin back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Darwin jumps guard but Dux stands there with Darwin around his waist. Darwin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dux's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dux throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dux sends Darwin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dux is motioning to the referee to let Darwin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
 Darwin is rocked! Dux weaves into range and cracks Darwin right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Darwin goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Dux is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frank Dux! Frank Dux retains his welterweight title! A relieved looking Frank Dux thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. James Darwin spoke after the fight, saying 'totally unexpected...'.
