Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zark Muckerberg (ranked 121 p4p, 779 weight class) and Essien Ekuoba (ranked 2 p4p, 39 weight class). Ekuoba has chosen Pure Water as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zark Muckerberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Essien Ekuoba!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ekuoba throws an off balance right hand
and Muckerberg counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Muckerberg shoots for a double leg takedown but Ekuoba sprawls well. He's pushed Muckerberg's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ekuoba misses with a right hand
and Muckerberg counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Muckerberg rushes Ekuoba and presses him up against the cage.

Ekuoba pushes Muckerberg off and gets back to his feet.
Muckerberg definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ekuoba tries to clinch but Muckerberg is having none of it.
Muckerberg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ekuoba pinned against the cage. Ekuoba gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Muckerberg looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ekuoba is trying to stand up here but Muckerberg is controlling him well.
Muckerberg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ekuoba does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Muckerberg is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Muckerberg stops Ekuoba from getting back to his feet.
Muckerberg is working for a kimura but Ekuoba is defending it quite comfortably.
Ekuoba tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Muckerberg manages to move to mount!
Ekuoba is squirming around, avoiding Muckerberg's attempts to control the action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Muckerberg won't let Ekuoba get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Muckerberg throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ekuoba because Muckerberg loaded up on that one.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

letting Muckerberg counter with a right hand.
It looks like Essien Ekuoba has been cut.
Ekuoba throws a shot from downtown. Muckerberg moves away and avoids it.
Muckerberg bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ekuoba's head backwards.
Ekuoba looks to land a right hand but Muckerberg moved out of range.
Ekuoba stuffs the takedown attempt from Muckerberg. Muckerberg gets slowly back to his feet.
Muckerberg is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ekuoba can do to turn this around?

Ekuoba sends Muckerberg crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ekuoba is motioning to the referee to let Muckerberg up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Muckerberg is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Muckerberg leaves his chin hanging out and Ekuoba seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Muckerberg crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
