Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nakachi Tadageru (ranked 254 p4p, 608 weight class) and Abel Hug (ranked 23 p4p, 57 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nakachi Tadageru! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abel Hug! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That kick from Hug tenderised Tadageru's leg. Tadageru is trying to keep his angry face on. Hug turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Hug tries to work over Tadageru's front leg with a kick but Tadageru checks it. Hug scores with a hook to the body. Tadageru takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Tadageru throws a body shot but no joy. Hug keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tadageru walks into a straight right hand from Hug. Hug avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head kick by Hug misses
so Tadageru counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hug keeping moving, preventing Tadageru from controlling successfully. Tadageru with a flurry of punches that miss. Tadageru in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tadageru throws a strike but Hug rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Hug seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tadageru is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Sydney Top Team that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Hug wants to stand but Tadageru has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hug won't allow Tadageru to sweep him here. Hug showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Tadageru wants to sweep here but Hug controlling him for the moment. Tadageru is pulling down on Hug's head to control his posture. Hug preventing the sweep.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tadageru is working hard here to advance position. Hug sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hug must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tadageru has Hug pulled in close to control his posture. Tadageru has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hug controlling from the top position. Tadageru looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hug avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tadageru fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hug manages to avoid it. Hug throws the kick towards the body but Tadageru avoids it. Tadageru fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hug throws out a loose jab but Tadageru uses good head movement to avoid it. Tadageru shoots in but Hug avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nakachi Tadageru. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hug misses with a double jab.
Hug swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hug throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tadageru clinches up against the cage. A body shot lands from Tadageru.
Tadageru is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hug gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Tadageru goes for a takedown attempt but Hug pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hug throws a poor cross that misses
and Tadageru counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Tadageru is looking to clinch but Hug is avoiding it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hug! But no joy. A nice leg kick from Hug, right into the meat of the thigh.
Tadageru shoots in and gets a takedown into Hug's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tadageru throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tadageru throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hug works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tadageru postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hug looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tadageru is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tadageru in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Abel Hug will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hug throws a shot from downtown. Tadageru moves away and avoids it. Tadageru shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Tadageru shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hug sprawls well. Hug wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tadageru gets slowly back to his feet. Hug connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Hug moves into range and connects with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hug wants to land a leg kick but Tadageru is out of range. Tadageru appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Tadageru moves in looking to clinch but Hug pushes him off. Hug with a hook. Hug scores with a push kick.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tadageru tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hug catches Tadageru with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A looping hook to the body misses from Hug. Tadageru does a little dance to reset his feet. Hug loads up on a big right hand but Tadageru slips the punch. Tadageru keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hug. Hug throws a right and a left that both miss. Tadageru uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hug. Hug with a nice calf kick. Hug moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Tadageru tries for a takedown but Hug sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hug throws a body punch but Tadageru moves out of range. Hug misses with a kick to the body
and Tadageru counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hug is staying active underneath Tadageru, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hug manages to get to full guard.
Tadageru throws a big right hand that misses. Hug working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tadageru. Hug keeping full guard, as Tadageru tries to pass. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hug is on top in guard.
Hug wants to pass the guard but Tadageru is keeping the position.
Tadageru has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hug doesn't defend quickly enough and Tadageru has managed to lock this one up! Can Hug escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Tadageru on a fantastic submission victory.
