Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Roger Little! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
41 - 27 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Sean Carter Williams! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Little misses with a right hand and Williams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Little uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Williams.
Little rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage. Little doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Williams tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Williams fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Little misses with a punch on the inside.
Williams is trying to break the clinch but Little has him pressed against the cage. Little lands a nice uppercut. Little lands a hook to the side of the head. Little tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Little digs a right hand underneath Williams's ribcage. Williams let out a lung full of air as it connected. Little misses with a short punch on the inside. Williams lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Williams tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Little lands an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Little makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A short uppercut from Little. Williams has a couple of punches blocked by Little.
Williams tries to break the clinch but Little is controlling the position. A frustrated look appears on Williams's face as he tries to break the clinch. Williams swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Little working some nice short punches in the clinch. Little keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Williams's efforts to push away. Little tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Little prevents Williams from breaking the clinch. Williams throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Williams wants to break the clinch but can't.
A short right from Little. Williams has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head punch on the inside from Williams fails to land. Williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A left lands for Little.
Williams is rocked! Williams throws a right hand that Little ducks under and follows up with a left that Little also avoids with ease. Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Little finish him? Little throws a monster overhand right that drops Williams! Little follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roger Little! Roger Little tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
