Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Tourney Fighter (ranked 3974 p4p, 356 weight class) and Erick Clap (ranked 2451 p4p, 238 weight class). Clap has chosen Burn it to the ground as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Tourney Fighter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 2, fighting out of New York, Erick Clap! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Clap scores with a nice hook to the head. Fighter trying to land knees to the body.
Clap blocks an uppercut.
Clap tries to break the clinch but Fighter is controlling the position. Fighter with a knee to the head.
Clap avoids a wild elbow strike from Fighter. Fighter with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Clap blocks an uppercut.
Fighter misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Clap.
Clap's coach down at River's Edge Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Clap's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Fighter scores with a nice hook to the head. Fighter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Clap backwards. Clap scores with a shoulder strike. A short right hand to the side of the head by Fighter. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fighter misses with a knee strike.
Clap tries to throw a body punch but Fighter avoids it by throwing Clap back against the ropes. Clap pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Clap moves away from the strike by Fighter. Fighter ducks right into an uppercut from Clap. Fighter lands a really nice looking cross but Clap seems unphased.
Fighter misses with a lunging right hand
and Clap counters with a straight right hand.
Fighter is rocked! Fighter cracks Clap with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

That's one minute gone in the round. Clap pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Clap is still on wobbly legs! Can Fighter finish him? Fighter throws a lazy uppercut
and Clap counters with a lovely shot to the body. Fighter wants to clinch up but Clap keeps it at a distance. Clap seems to have recovered his senses. Fighter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fighter cracks the inside of Clap's front leg. Fighter throws a push kick but Clap slaps the foot to one side. Fighter scores with a kick to the body.
Fighter throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Clap misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tourney Fighter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fighter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Clap moves out of range as Fighter strikes. Fighter with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Clap, right into the meat.
Fighter looks to throw the jab but Clap is out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Fighter. Clap does a little dance to reset his feet. Clap replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter blocks it well. Fighter lands the left hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fighter misses with a double jab
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clap lands a front kick. Clap lands with a good body shot. Fighter tests Clap's chin there with a solid looking shot. Clap scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Fighter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Fighter gets tackled into the ropes by Clap. Clap maintains the clinch. Fighter pushes off an throws an elbow but Clap leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes. Fighter is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Fighter misses with some punches.
Clap breaks the clinch.
Fighter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Clap. Jab, jab by Fighter - just one landing. Fighter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Clap chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Fighter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clap moves away. Fighter misses with a hook. Fighter looks to land a right hand but Clap moved out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tourney Fighter dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Fighter wants to slow Clap down by chopping away at his legs. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Fighter here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Clap throws a switch kick that catches Fighter on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Fighter looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Fighter flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Erick Clap! Erick Clap took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Conviction for their support in the buildup to the fight.
