U.H.F. - 2 has come to an end, and in spite of some match making issues we where still able to see six fights. Six fights that included three of our four scheduled first round match-ups in our 205lbs championship tournament, all of which receiving "of the night" honors.
Sailo Damtea was to scheduled to compete in the first round of our 205lbs tournament, unfortunately three separate fighters declined to fight Sailo. As a result, through much consideration, to keep the tournament going Sailo has been granted a pass through to the semi-finals of the 205lbs championship tournament.
The U.H.F. - 2 main card kicked off with a match between Massa Mamumba and, Zalicker Zukowski making his pro debut. Mamumba wasted no time getting his hands on Zukowski and dragging him to the ground by pulling guard. Mamumba quickly swept Zukowski and was able to mount him. Mamumba needed only a few powerful strikes to knock out Zukowski earning him his third MMA win and first by KO.
In the nights first tournament match-up we saw Antonio Martinez earn "submission of the night" with his kimura victory over Wrinkly Tosser. Tosser tried to keep Martinez at bay with a sires of head kicks, but Martinez was still able to shot in and score with a double leg takedown bring the fight to the ground. From there Martinez quickly locked up a kimura which would force Tosser to tap-out.
The co-main event of the evening was an action packed fight which saw Junior Alvares punch and kick his way to victory Oblit Erator. Erator was twice able to take the fight to the ground, but Alvares showed strong submission defense, escaping all of Erator's submission attempts. Junior Alvares was by far the better stand up fighter, landing over 70% of his strikes and, earning a unanimous decision to advance in the 205lbs tournament.
In the main event "Outback" Jack McCullough came out punching and rocked Elliot Payne early. With Payne on wobbly legs "Outback" Jack continued punching finally connecting with a big right that put an end to the fight in just 18 seconds. With Jack McCullough's "knock out of the night" win he earns the final spot in the semi finals of the 205lbs championship tournament.
