The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlos is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Carlos throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Carlos shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Blaydes swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Blaydes looks to land a left hand but Carlos moved out of range nicely.
Blaydes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Blaydes enables Carlos to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Blaydes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
