Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pacome Thibodeaux (ranked 3025 p4p, 2725 weight class) and Maks Teller (ranked 356 p4p, 334 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pacome Thibodeaux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maks Teller! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thibodeaux ducks under a wild hook from Teller. Teller fails to land the takedown. Thibodeaux is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Teller. Teller shoots in looking for a takedown but Thibodeaux manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Teller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Thibodeaux throwing a counter right hand but Teller manages to avoid it. Thibodeaux scores with a head kick. Teller tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Teller misses with the combination.
Teller looks to score with a jab to the body but Thibodeaux is just out of range. Thibodeaux looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Teller throws a hook but Thibodeaux avoids it easily. Teller blocks a jab. Thibodeaux will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Teller looks like he wants to counter punch here. Teller misses with an uppercut. Teller throws a looping overhand right but Thibodeaux ducks down to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Teller shoots for a takedown but Thibodeaux saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Pacome Thibodeaux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maks Teller. Thibodeaux misses with an uppercut. Nice cross by Thibodeaux. Teller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Thibodeaux seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Teller shoots in but no luck this time. Teller lands a body shot.

Nice sprawl there from Thibodeaux as Teller shoots in. Nice defenses there by Thibodeaux. Thibodeaux misses with a leg kick. The fighters circling - Teller throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Thibodeaux showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Teller.
Teller throws a sloppy head kick and Thibodeaux moves out of range easily. Thibodeaux works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Maks Teller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thibodeaux sends Teller crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Thibodeaux is motioning to the referee to let Teller up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Teller is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Teller misses with a leg kick and Thibodeaux counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Teller falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

and Pugsley counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Armstrong is refusing to be controlled, as Pugsley sits in half guard. Armstrong definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Pugsley with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Armstrong on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Armstrong tries to get out of the position. Pugsley is thwarting Armstrong's attempts to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pugsley tries to pass to full mount but Armstrong defends it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Inhanamoto bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. As Kristiansen backs away, Inhanamoto returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Kristiansen connects with an inside leg kick. Kristiansen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kristiansen loads up on a big right hand but Inhanamoto slips the punch. Inhanamoto pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kristiansen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Inhanamoto moves away. Kristiansen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Inhanamoto looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Inhanamoto staying out of range there. Inhanamoto lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Inhanamoto throws a big shot that misses. Inhanamoto moves out of range as Kristiansen strikes. Kristiansen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Inhanamoto manages to avoid it. Kristiansen throws the left hand but Inhanamoto avoids the punch easily. Inhanamoto gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kristiansen. Kristiansen throws an off balance right hand
and Inhanamoto finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Jørgen Kristiansen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kristiansen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dukic clinches up against the cage. Mesquita tries to score a body lock takedown but Dukic shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Mesquita blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mesquita pulls guard. Mesquita working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dukic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dukic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mesquita is looking for a triangle but Dukic pushes his legs off easily.
Dukic trying to control but Mesquita is working from the bottom. Dukic has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dukic got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mesquita has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dukic has managed to get both his arms back between Mesquita's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dukic wants to get up but he can't break Mesquita's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Dukic has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mesquita to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dukic is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mesquita pulls down on the head and he's put Dukic to sleep! This one is all over!

Brown throws a leg kick that is checked and Jiet counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brown misses with a shot to the body and Jiet counters with a straight right hand. Jiet fails in his attempt to clinch. Brown misses with a straight left. Brown misses with a right hand and Jiet scores with a counter punch that sends Brown to the canvas! Jiet smells blood - he's punishing Brown with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Brown has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

He must have been on the weights. Davis lunges at Boles with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Boles's hand. Davis throws the left hand but Boles avoids the punch easily. Boles is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Boles needs to keep his hands up - Davis had a free shot at his head there. Davis swings widly with a right hand
and Boles counters with a right hand to the body. Boles is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dlask has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Dlask bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dlask throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Dlask trying to control the position but Brown is working away. We've been hearing that Dlask has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Dlask throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Brown regains half guard. Dlask wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brown keeps working. Brown avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dlask. Dlask thows a huge punch but Brown dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dlask throwing shots but Brown is blocking nicely. Brown keeping control of the position. Dlask lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Dlask lands with a punch from half guard. Dlask has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dlask is working away from the top position though. Dlask not landing any meaningful shots this time. Brown is staying active underneath Dlask, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dlask throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Dlask is stalling here. Brown is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dlask seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Brown has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Dlask tries to control but Brown manages to take his back. Good control from Brown. Dlask rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Not particularly brutal. Brown avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dlask throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brown works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dlask wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving. Dlask with a nice head shot there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dlask working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Brown's head. Dlask trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom. Dlask stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dlask throwing strikes from guard but Brown blocks nicely. Dlask throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brown works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brown is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Dlask throws a big elbow that misses. Dlask throws a big right hand that misses. Dlask in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dlask trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Brown keeping moving, preventing Dlask from controlling successfully. Dlask landing with the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dlask accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dlask postures up in Brown's guard and throws a big left but Brown blocks it. Dlask working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Brown is adopting a defensive guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dlask throws a big right hand that misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dlask moves out of range of the leg kick from Brown. Dlask looks for a takedown but Brown sprawls well. Brown lands a big head kick that sends Dlask tumbling to the mat! Brown takes a step backwards and waves Dlask back to his feet - he wants the finish! Dlask is rocked! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dlask is defended easily by Brown. Oh Dlask is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Brown fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Dlask seems to have got his legs back now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dlask shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brown defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominik Dlask. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dlask shoots in looking for a takedown. Brown tries to sprawl out of it but Dlask keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brown manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dlask lands the left hand. Brown throws a hook to the side of Dlask's head but Dlask sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dlask half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Dlask looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Brown misses with a body shot
and Dlask decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brown's guard. Brown has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Dlask has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Brown scores with a shoulder strike. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dlask tries for a takedown. No joy.
Brown lands an uppercut. Brown misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Brown is working Dlask over against the cage. Brown lands with a left to the head. Brown lands a left hand.
Brown dips a shoulder and cracks Dlask with a mighty uppercut! Dlask falls back against the cage and Brown unloads with a barrage of strikes! Dlask is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Brown screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Nice defenses there by Hendrix. A combination from Hendrix does no damage. Hendrix throws a hook but Smif avoids it easily. Smif throws a jab when Hendrix was well out of range. Hendrix's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hendrix duly obliges. It looks like Jumba Smif has been cut. Smif pushes Hendrix up against the cage in a clinch. Smif pushes Hendrix back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Hendrix prevents a body shot from Smif. Smif blocks a punch to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smif throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Hendrix pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Smif closes the distance and clinches. Smif swings wildly with an uppercut but Hendrix uses good head movement to avoid it. Hendrix has a couple of punches blocked by Smif.
Hendrix escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
