Dell thuds his right hand into Mada's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Mada doesn't succeed with the takedown

Mada gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Dell gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Mada is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

A left hand lands to the body for Faulk.
Faulk creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Gerritzen's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Gerritzen drops to his knees and Faulk pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Marley has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Thib's Sweat Shoppe in the buildup to the fight.
Penn Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Marley moves out of range easily.
Marley was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Marley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Penn Jr lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A punch lands to the side of Penn Jr 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Penn Jr is rocked!
Marley lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Penn Jr up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Marley from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Penn Jr's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sparky Anderson (ranked 394 p4p, 552 weight class) and Seamus O Brien (ranked 49 p4p, 74 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Anderson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pick up man. O Brien has chosen Pantera - The Great Southern Trendkill as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
