Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Three AB! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Islim Makhmud! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makhmud throws an uppercut from half a mile away. AB sees it coming and avoids it easily. Makhmud throws a combination but it was largely blocked by AB. AB moves out of range as Makhmud strikes. AB half committed to a counter leg kick. Makhmud throws a hook to the side of AB's head but AB sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Makhmud connects with a crisp jab. Makhmud misses with an uppercut. AB saw that one coming. Makhmud is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by AB. AB motions for Makhmud to come forward. AB throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. A little jabbing left from Makhmud on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Makhmud fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. AB looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. AB on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. AB on the wrong end of a nice jab. AB takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Nice straight punches there by Makhmud. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Makhmud. AB closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's one minute gone in the round. Makhmud lands a nice shot to the body.
Makhmud lands a head shot. AB takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. AB shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A low kick from AB misses and Makhmud counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Makhmud lands with a hook. AB tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. AB uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Makhmud. AB looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. AB drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Makhmud scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Makhmud looks to land a right hand but AB moved out of range. AB takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Makhmud is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! AB had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Makhmud cracks AB with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Good shot there by Makhmud.

AB appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. AB with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Makhmud to score with a decent uppercut. Makhmud comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Makhmud lands a jab-cross combination. Makhmud throws a jab but it's blocked by AB. AB fires out a quick counter leg kick but Makhmud just manages to avoid it. Makhmud scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. AB doesn't seem bothered though. Makhmud dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Makhmud lands with a hook. AB tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Makhmud connects with a body shot that sends AB's belly button to the back. AB throws a leg kick that misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Islim Makhmud dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! AB misses with a low kick. Makhmud connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. AB uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Makhmud. AB takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Makhmud cracks AB with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. AB drops his hands momentarily and Makhmud takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Makhmud with a jab. AB with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Makhmud to score with a decent uppercut. Makhmud lands with a cross. Some bone on bone action there as Makhmud checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Makhmud lands a slapping body shot.
AB takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Makhmud bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Makhmud bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of AB's head. Islim Makhmud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. AB staying out of range there. AB seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. AB takes one on the button. Makhmud with a hook. AB takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A left lands for Makhmud. Nice shot by Makhmud. Makhmud lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. AB on the wrong end of a nice jab. AB takes a shot right to the bread basket. Makhmud fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. An inside leg kick from AB misses. AB motions for Makhmud to come forward. AB throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Makhmud lands with a shot to the body. We've been informed that Makhmud has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Makhmud connects with a body shot. Makhmud throws an uppercut from half a mile away. AB sees it coming and avoids it easily. Makhmud connects with a jab. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Islim Makhmud showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round! AB takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
AB walks into a stiff left hand from Makhmud. Nice uppercut lands for Makhmud. That snapped AB's head back.
AB slips a straight right by Makhmud. The crowd cheers as Makhmud lands an impressive looking overhand right. AB doesn't seem phased though. Makhmud lands with an uppercut that bounces AB off the ropes and back into range. Makhmud lands with an overhand left. Makhmud has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Makhmud throws a shot from downtown. AB moves away and avoids it. Makhmud misses with a straight right. AB appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Makhmud throws an overhand right that lands on AB's shoulder, as AB tries to avoid the shot. Makhmud throws a good cross that connects.
AB tried to score with a low kick but Makhmud checks it. Makhmud lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Makhmud bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of AB's head. Makhmud throws a lazy right hand but AB sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Makhmud throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Makhmud lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Makhmud jabs AB right on the nose. AB blinks but takes it well. Makhmud misses with a hook. AB looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Makhmud lands a glancing blow to the side of AB's head. Makhmud ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A jab from Makhmud finds it's way through AB's defenses. Makhmud lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice shot lands for Makhmud. Makhmud swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by AB. Three AB has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Islim Makhmud is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. A punch combination from Makhmud misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Islim Makhmud comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Makhmud has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thud! ouch! good body kick from Drama - that will leave a mark!
Drama clips Dammon with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Dammon a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout. It looks like Matt Dammon has been cut. Drama throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Dammon looks winded! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dammon is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Drama doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Dammon crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Dammon's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Drama! A very excited looking Johnny Drama made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

He's taking a good look into Thurman 's eyes and has decided to let it go on! Thurman is rocked! A clash of legs there as Cannabino blocks the low kick. Thurman is still on wobbly legs! Can Cannabino finish him? Thurman gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cannabino. Thurman glances at the clock... BAM! Cannabino nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Thurman crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Thurman is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Dempsey ONeill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pratoomwong misses with a hook
and ONeill counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Pratoomwong goes down! ONeill rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Pratoomwong is up to one knee.... 8,9....10! He didn't make it! This fight is over!

Neich throws the left hand but Fuerte avoids the punch easily. Fuerte is looking for the big counter here. Fuerte takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Neich lands with a shot to the body. Fuerte walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Neich thows a left - swing and a miss! Neich throws a lazy right hand but Fuerte sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A right-left combo lands from Neich. Neich cracks Fuerte with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. A punch combination from Neich misses. Neich swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fuerte. Wooooo! Fuerte lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Neich looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Neich scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Fuerte is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Neich uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fuerte has time to react. Fuerte uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Neich. Neich throws a left and a right that both miss
and whilst Neich still has his hands down, Fuerte counters with a perfectly aimed head kick that sends Neich crashing to the mat! Will he recover? 3,4,5,6,7 - he's back up! The referee looks into his eyes and asks him to walk forwards. He's going to allow this one to continue but will Neich be able to survive another onslaught? Nice cross by Neich. Neich throws a poor cross that misses
and Fuerte counters with a beautiful hook that drops Neich to the mat! Will Neich be able to recover his senses? The referee starts the count at 3 having sent Fuerte to a neutral corner. 4,5,6 and Neich is up. He looks OK to continue. Neich is rocked! It looks like Lester Neich has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Neich pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Oh Neich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Neich looks to land a left hand but Fuerte moved out of range nicely. Fuerte is looking for the big counter here. Neich misses with a lunging right hand
and Fuerte counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Neich misses with a looping right. Fuerte doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Neich throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fuerte stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fuerte defending well as Neich loads up on a big left hand. A nice side step and Fuerte releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Neich throws a combination that misses and Fuerte counters with a nice low kick that buckles Neich's knee momentarily. Fuerte has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fuerte showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Neich.

As Neich backs off Fuerte throws a huge counter combo but Neich manages to avoid it all. Fuerte staying out of range there. Fuerte appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. The referee doesn't need to count him out here - this one was over before Neich hit the floor!
