The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobral has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sobral pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Drama throws a head punch that misses.
Sobral breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Drama throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Drama could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sobral scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sobral goes for a small jab and connects. Now Sobral goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Drama stumbles back but Sobral runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Drama to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Drama will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LI misses with a straight right.
LI fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Johnson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
LI moves out of range as Johnson strikes.
Johnson works LI's body with a nice hook.
Johnson throws out a loose jab but LI uses good head movement to avoid it.
LI closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

LI prevents Johnson from improving his position.
LI wants to free his trapped foot but Johnson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Johnson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Johnson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. LI defends it easily.
