With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stu Redman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Daaniel Teteny! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teteny shoots in for a takedown but Redman shows good takedown defense. Redman throws a looping overhand right but Teteny ducks down to avoid it. Redman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Redman thows a left - swing and a miss! Teteny takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Stu Redman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daaniel Teteny. Teteny shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Redman as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Redman has closed the distance and engaged Teteny in a clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lawrence has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. Cayden Abner spoke after the fight, saying 'Well that was fun, but the result was all wrong and kinda sucked. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shutes misses with a body kick. Voin attempts a counter takedown but Shutes avoids it well and moves away. Shutes throws a body punch but Voin moves out of range. Voin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shutes paws at him with a jab and circles away. Voin fails with the takedown and Shutes counters with a stiff right hand. Voin misses with a hook. Shutes ducked under it nicely. Voin misses with a right hand and Shutes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shutes, as that shot connected.
Shutes lands a really nice looking cross but Voin seems unphased.
Voin darts in and clinches Shutes up against the cage. Shutes misses with a short punch on the inside. A short left from Shutes. A head punch on the inside from Voin fails to land. Voin breaks from the clinch.

Voin looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Shutes swats away the attempt to clinch by Voin. Voin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shutes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Voin somewhat. Shutes appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Shutes takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Voin has Shutes up against the cage in a clinch.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Summa Sector! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny Smith! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sector takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Sector throws a lazy uppercut
and Smith counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sector rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Smith counters with a good low kick that Sector was not able to check. Summa Sector seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sector throws a body kick that misses and Smith counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sector throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily. Smith connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Sector swings widly with a right hand
and Smith counters with a lovely straight right hand! Smith with a nice calf kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith takes one to the chin there. It looks like Kenny Smith has been cut. Smith goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Smith comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick by Sector misses and Smith counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Smith throws a nice inside leg kick. Smith delivers a nice body kick. A combination from Sector does no damage. Sector throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it. Sector misses the shot to the body. Sector tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range. Sector wants to clinch but Smith slips to the side and Smith counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sector's knee momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sector scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Smith uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sector. Smith is trying to counter with his kicks. Smith checks a low kick from Sector. Smith counters with a body kick. Sector misses the jab. Sector tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sector misses the jab. Smith moves out of range of the leg kick from Sector. It seemed like Smith was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Smith misses with a left hand and Sector cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith checks a leg kick nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Smith fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Sector lands a jab. Sector takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Smith blocks a jab. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Smith! But no joy. Sector misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sector throws a head kick that misses enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab. Sector ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sector tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Good work by Sector as he checks the leg kick. A decent looking cross lands there for Sector. A nice inside leg kick there by Smith. That's going to slow Sector down. Smith scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sector thows a leg kick but Smith checks it and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Sector misses with a lunging right hand
and Smith makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Smith misses with an attempted mid kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kenny Smith dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kenny Smith's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Smith turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Sector takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
It appears Sector was looking to counter with a kick there. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Sector might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. That kick from Smith tenderised Sector's leg. Sector is trying to keep his angry face on. Smith on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kenny Smith seems to be getting the better of the standup. A nice leg kick from Smith, right into the meat of the thigh.
Smith uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sector. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sector throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily. Sector throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith. Despite the aggression on Smith's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Sector tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sector throws an off balance right hand
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab. Sector takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
A nice leg kick from Smith, right into the meat of the thigh.
Smith uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sector. Smith looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Sector misses with a combination
and Smith counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Smith cracks Sector with a right hand to the side of the head. Sector throws a lazy head kick and Smith counters with a low kick, right behind Sector 's knee. Smith lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sector takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sector moves out of range as Smith throws a body kick.
Sector throws a leg kick and Smith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sector tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Smith counters with a lovely shot to the body. Sector misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sector backing away here, and Smith unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Sector works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sector scores with a sloppy right hand. Smith should have avoided that one. Sector looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Smith scores with a punch to the head. Sector waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smith. Smith lands with an overhand left. Sector swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Smith misses with a looping right. Smith pushes Sector away with a front kick. Smith throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sector has Smith up against the cage in a clinch.
Sector tries to work over Smith's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Smith tries to land knees in the clinch but Sector avoids the damage to the body. Smith can't find room to land a body shot as Sector controls the action.
Smith breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sector misses with a hook
and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jab by Smith. Sector throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Danga de danga de dang - Sector scores with a four punch combination! Smith throws a chopping leg kick but Sector manages to avoid taking any serious damage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kenny Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kenny Smith's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Sector throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily. Summa Sector has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sector has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Sector throws a shot from downtown. Smith moves away and avoids it. A little jabbing left from Smith on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Smith avoids the head kick by Sector.
Smith was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Smith connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sector momentarily.
Smith lands a leg kick that knocks Sector off balance momentarily. Sector throws a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sector swings and misses with a shot to the body and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sector misses with an uppercut

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Smith avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sector is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. A quick uppercut on the inside from Sector. That has opened up Kenny Smith's cut even more. Smith misses with a punch on the inside.
Sector prevents a body shot from Smith. Sector tries to work over Smith's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Sector lands a nice shot to the body. Sector throws a punch but it's blocked by Smith. Sector pushes Smith back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Sector throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Smiths head. A head punch on the inside from Smith fails to land. Sector throws a head punch that misses. Sector breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This has been an exciting period of action! Sector looks to land a right hand but Smith moved out of range. Smith looks like he wants to counter punch here. Smith uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sector. Smith throws a big counter head kick but Sector avoids it with no problem. The crowd cheers as Smith lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sector doesn't seem phased though.

Smith scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. A low kick from Sector misses and Sector takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Smith circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith throws out a counter right but Sector avoids it with no problem. Sector loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch. Sector throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sector takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nice jab there from Smith. Smith dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sector. That did some damage! Smith lands with a cross. Smith slips a straight right by Sector. Smith scores with a spinning back kick! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smith avoids the head kick by Sector.
Smith let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Smith throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Sector rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Smith counters with a nice body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Kenny Smith comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Smith winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ihantala looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ihantala lets loose with a powerful body kick. Knox will feel that in the morning. Knox swings and misses with a shot to the body and Ihantala counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ihantala stuns Knox with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Ihantala scores with the left hand. Knox knows he should have avoided that one. Ihantala throws a body shot but no joy. Knox looks like he wants to counter punch here. Knox looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Knox lands a jab-cross combination. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
