That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gonzalez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rubenstein - the referee stops the clock and Gonzalez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rubenstein. Gonzalez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erwin Schrodinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Galileo Galilei!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schrodinger throws the left hand but Galilei avoids the punch easily.
Galilei is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
A big left from Schrodinger misses.
Schrodinger throws a shot from downtown. Galilei moves away and avoids it.
Galilei is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Schrodinger with a body shot.
Galilei has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Schrodinger jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Galileo Galilei has been cut.
Schrodinger has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Galilei.
Galilei misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A little feinted left hand from Schrodinger on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Schrodinger misses with a straight right.
Galilei keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Galilei throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A left lands for Schrodinger.
Galilei connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Erwin Schrodinger has been cut.
Schrodinger has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Jungle Room in the buildup to the fight.

Schrodinger is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Galilei.

letting Galilei counter with a right hand.
Schrodinger with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Galilei to score with a decent uppercut.
Schrodinger loads up on a big right hand but Galilei slips the punch.
Galilei slips under a jab.
Galilei thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Schrodinger if he has to take too many more of those.
Erwin Schrodinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schrodinger misses with a left hand
and Galilei counters with a right hand to the body.
Schrodinger is breathing heavily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Galilei fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

and Galilei counters with a crisp right hand that drops Schrodinger! Galilei lets Schrodinger back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Erwin Schrodinger's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Schrodinger throws a sloppy body shot
and Galilei counters with a big right hand! Oh Schrodinger is in trouble here! Galilei follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Galileo Galilei!
After winning the bout, Galileo Galilei thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
