Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Deshawn Wright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kane Brimstone! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brimstone misses with a looping left. Brimstone scores with a decent looking hook. Wright fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wright tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brimstone paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wright has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wright is trying to drag Brimstone to the mat but Brimstone just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Brimstone scores with a shot to the side of Wright's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brimstone tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wright's elbow. Wright ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wright no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Brimstone trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Brimstone engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wright trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Wright wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Wright is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. Deshawn Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wright moves out of range of the strikes. Wright shoots in for a double leg but Brimstone sprawls well. Brimstone sprawls well. Brimstone keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A little jabbing left from Brimstone on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wright fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Brimstone! Wright throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Brimstone counters with a straight right hand. Wright closes the distance but Brimstone moves to the side and Brimstone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Nice defenses there by Wright. A quick step to the side and Wright tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Wright misses with a shot to the body The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. and Brimstone counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. This has been an exciting period of action! Brimstone darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Brimstone tests Wright's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Wright looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Brimstone connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Wright loads up on a big right hand but Brimstone slips the punch. Wright tries to move into range but Brimstone moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Wright wants to clinch but Brimstone slips to the side and Brimstone counters with a straight right hand. Brimstone might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A lazy left from Brimstone finds it's target. Brimstone lands a lovely overhand right. Wright is rocked! Wright has his takedown stuffed and Brimstone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Deshawn Wright has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Oh Wright is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Brimstone throws out a loose jab but Wright uses good head movement to avoid it.
And that's the end of the fight! Kane Brimstone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Brimstone winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

It looks like Sherk might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

No, Harged has escaped the position, nice work there. Sherk laying and praying for a moment but Harged takes advantage and regains half guard. Harged wants to improve his position but Sherk is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sherk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Sherk has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Harged trying to control the position from guard on top but Sherk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Steve Sherk has got the better of the ground game so far.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cobb lands a jab. Kimsh throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cobb seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Kimsh takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Cobb gets the takedown into side control. Kimsh tries to get back to half guard but can't. We've been hearing good reports from Cobb's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Cobb decides to stand back up. Cobb steps back and let's Kimsh get back to his feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kimsh. Cobb lands with a hook. Kimsh tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cobb scores with a decent looking hook. Cobb lands with an overhand left. Cobb lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kimsh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cobb swivels and escapes.

Kimsh's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cobb connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kimsh scrambles back to his feet. Cobb scores with a jab to the body. Cobb defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kimsh. Billy Cobb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Suydas Kimsh. Kimsh looks winded! Cobb connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Cobb slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Cobb scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Cobb fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Kimsh on the wrong end of a nice jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cobb displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Cobb cracks a nice hook into Kimsh's ribs. Kimsh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cobb moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cobb lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kimsh backs up against the cage.
Cobb scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Kimsh is rocked! Kimsh circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Cobb. Kimsh falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Cobb!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christ ducks under a wild hook from Jung. A little jabbing left from Christ on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Jung scores with a crisp jab that stopped Christ in his tracks. Jung gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jung tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Christ was well out of range. Poor timing from Jung. Jung connects with a single shot there. Christ misses with an uppercut

Jung shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Christ connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jung momentarily.
