And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Paulo Roberto!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roberto instigates a clinch.
Haudegen is trying to stall.
Haudegen dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Roberto can't find room to land a body shot as Haudegen controls the action.
Haudegen stalling.
Roberto lands a right hand that snaps the head of Haudegen backwards.
Knees in the clinch landing for Roberto.
A nice left hand lands by Roberto.
Roberto pushes off an throws an elbow but Haudegen leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Haudegen is trying to control the position but Roberto postures up.
Roberto wanted to stand there but Haudegen had control of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Haudegen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Haudegen is trying to hold Roberto in close to prevent damage but Roberto has managed to pass into half guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Roberto decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Roberto gets caught flat footed, as Haudegen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haudegen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roberto swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Roberto is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Haudegen is controlling him.

Haudegen is really struggling to control Roberto but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Haudegen wants to pass the guard but Roberto is keeping the position.
Haudegen wants to control from the top but Roberto keeps moving.

Roberto displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Haudegen throws out the jab.

Haudegen is looking to cinch up a triangle. Roberto throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Haudegen's body to avoid the submission. Haudegen has instead reached around Roberto's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Haudegen arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Anderson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Haggar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haggar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Haggar is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Haggar drops an elbow to the side of Anderson's head.
Haggar landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Haggar lands with a punch from half guard.
It looks like Noah Anderson has been cut.
