Hunt drops Knuckles with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Knuckles looks back up at him and smiles so Hunt waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Knuckles is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
It looks like Brick Knuckles has been cut.
Knuckles throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hunt.
Hunt lands with a nice body punch.

Oh Knuckles is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Phol Hunt opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wolfgang Von Wild!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Dalton!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalton misses with a two punch combination.

Von Wild closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Von Wild wants to control but Dalton is keeping him busy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Von Wild wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dalton keeps working.
Dalton tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Von Wild wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Dalton is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Von Wild is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Dalton tries to hold on but Von Wild pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Von Wild takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Dalton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Dalton is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Von Wild gets his way!

Von Wild has the hooks in. Dalton is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Von Wild is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Dalton with him. Dalton is trying to defend but Von Wild has an arm under the chin now! Dalton grimaces and is forced to tap out!

After the fight, Wolfgang Von Wild was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
