The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Young is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ramirez. A jab from Ramirez does it's job there. Young throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ramirez lands with a cross. Young is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ramirez. It looks like Stan Young has been cut. Ramirez stuns Young with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Ramirez cracks a nice hook into Young's ribs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Young takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Ramirez connects with a right hand. Young shakes it off. Ramirez scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Young to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Ramirez away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Young got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Ramirez doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Young crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Young's bad books for that mishap!

Kennard connects with a knee to the head.

With a record of 51 - 29 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Sortek Redfist! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redfist is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Sortek Redfist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Locke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Redfist moves away. A decent looking cross lands there for Locke. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Locke lands a nice shot that snaps Redfist's head back.
Redfist throws a hook but Locke avoids it easily. As Redfist looks to move away, Locke throws a big counter combo but Redfist just gets out of the way. A telegraphed right hand from Redfist misses the target. Redfist throws a head kick that misses. Locke uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Redfist. Redfist throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Locke. It looks like Ryan Locke has been cut. Nice cross by Locke. Redfist throws a sloppy head kick and Locke moves out of range easily. Locke takes a shot right to the bread basket. Redfist throws a hook but Locke avoids it easily. Locke's jab looks to have found its range, popping Redfist under the eye. Redfist uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Locke. Redfist throws a fast counter high kick but Locke manages to duck under it in time. We've been informed that Redfist has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Locke lands a head shot. Locke takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Locke blocks a jab. A head kick misses from Redfist.
That's one minute gone in the round. Locke connects with a good right hand that stumbles Redfist. Redfist circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Nice uppercut lands for Locke. That snapped Redfist's head back.
Locke steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Redfist. Locke slips a jab from Redfist. Redfist lands a front kick to the face, that drops Locke to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight! Redfist throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Locke is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Locke avoids the head kick by Redfist.
Locke ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Locke bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Redfist's head. Locke connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Locke misses with an uppercut. Redfist saw that one coming. Locke cracks Redfist with a good jab. It looks like Locke has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Locke scores with a crisp jab that stopped Redfist in his tracks. Locke is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Locke scores with a punch to the head. Redfist throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Locke counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Redfist thinking. Redfist connects with a leg kick. Locke misses with a hook. Locke throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

A nice side step and Redfist releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Crack! A monster head kick from Redfist and Locke falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr!
