Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, John Paul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ledley King! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. King is looking to regain half guard here but Paul keeps moving and retains side control. Paul lands an elbow. King can't do much from the bottom here. Paul in side control lands a decent elbow. King tries to bench press Paul off him but Paul keeps the position. You can see the frustration on King's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Paul is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. King is trying to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King can't do much from the bottom here. King is not content to let Paul control the position. Paul landing a few strikes.

Paul trying to control the action but King is working from the bottom. Nice strikes from Paul there. King moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Paul wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Paul doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Paul manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Paul postures up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paul trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. King is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Paul with a flurry of punches that miss. Paul working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Paul missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ledley King! In his post fight interview, Ledley King started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Bukowski throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Distefano to regain full guard. Bukowski looking to sit in guard and control but Distefano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bukowski is controlling Distefano's posture. Bukowski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Distefano is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bukowski wants to sweep but no luck.

Distefano wants to counter with a clinch but Bukowski pushes him away. Bukowski with a lazy takedown attempt and Distefano counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bukowski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Distefano - the referee stops the clock and Bukowski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Distefano. Bukowski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bukowski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bukowski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Bukowski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Distefano defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bukowski.

and Distefano counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Eric Distefano seems to be getting the better of the standup. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bukowski jabs at Distefano's body. Bukowski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Distefano pinned against the cage. Distefano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bukowski bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Distefano's head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Distefano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. A left lands for Distefano. Distefano gets caught napping as Bukowski dives in and scores a takedown. Distefano manages to retain guard. Bukowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Distefano swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bukowski won't allow Distefano to sweep him here. Bukowski scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bukowski throws a strike but Distefano rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Distefano is pushing down on Bukowski's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bukowski is fighting to maintain full guard but Distefano has managed to sneak the leg through.

Charles Bukowski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bukowski is looking to get back to full guard here but Distefano has managed to pass to side control instead. Distefano trying to control the action but Bukowski is working from the bottom. Bukowski tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Distefano counters with a stiff right hand. Bukowski is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bukowski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Distefano defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charles Bukowski. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bukowski has a takedown stuffed.

and Emu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Limu Emu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tomson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Emu.
Emu thuds a left hand into Tomson's body. Emu throws a combination that misses and Tomson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. It looks like Limu Emu has been cut. Emu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Tomson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jab, jab by Emu - just one landing. Emu listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Emu lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tomson's sensitive parts. Emu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tomson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Emu swings and misses with a shot to the body and Tomson counters with a right hand to the body. Tomson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Tomson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Emu. Sloppy strikes from Emu. Those never looked like landing. Tom Tomson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A jab from Tomson misses. Emu lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tomson's sensitive parts. Emu connects with a body shot. Emu connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Emu lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Tomson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Emu is one step ahead there. Emu trying to control the position from guard on top but Tomson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Emu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Tomson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Emu is controlling him. Tomson keeping moving, preventing Emu from controlling successfully. Tomson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Tomson throws a shot to the body.
Emu stalks Tomson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tomson's face. Tomson staggers backwards, shaken. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Limu Emu dominated that round. The cut man is working on Limu Emu's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Donk. Emu catches Tomson right on the button with a cross. Emu slips a straight right by Tomson. Emu is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tomson can do to turn this around? Emu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tomson.

Emu throws a leg kick but Tomson sees it coming and moves out of range. A big left from Tomson misses. Tomson thuds a left hand into Emu's body. Tomson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Emu appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A looping hook to the body misses from Tomson. Emu does a little dance to reset his feet. Tomson checks the leg kick. Emu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tomson but Tomson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emu misses the body punch and Tomson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A low kick from Emu is predictable there and Tomson counters with a head kick that wobbles Emu - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Tomson sends him down. This one is all over!

Bronte tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gasgoine manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A countering left hand to the body from Gasgoine misses. Bronte misses with a right hand enabling Gasgoine to counter with a crisp jab. Bronte throws a series of punches but Gasgoine moves out of range. Gasgoine appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Bronte pushes Gasgoine up against the cage in a clinch.

Gasgoine buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bronte is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Bronte throws an overhand right that drops Gasgoine like a sack of potatoes! Bronte dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

With a record of 28 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aboubacar Mandiang! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mandiang sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Mandiang swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Mandiang's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dancer under the eye. Mandiang stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dancer. Mandiang throws a sloppy head kick and Dancer moves out of range easily. A jab from Mandiang misses. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mandiang crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dancer - the referee stops the clock and Mandiang gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dancer. Mandiang manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Dancer misses with a head kick.
