The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollio misses with a left hand
and Nikora connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pollio has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nikora finds it's way round the side to connect with Pollio's head.
It looks like Lysander Pollio has been cut.
Pollio uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nikora has time to react.
Lysander Pollio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pollio dives in and scores a takedown into Nikora's guard.
Pollio lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Pollio postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Nikora is looking to stand up but Pollio isn't so interested in that idea.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mineiro has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kakuto is working away from the top position though.

BOOM! Biederman lands a beautiful left hook that drops Wick. Wick tries to recover but Biederman is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Wick lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
