and Hongtong counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hongtong throws a lazy right hand but Goodman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hongtong scores with a body shot.
Hongtong uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Goodman.
Goodman lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Goodman shoots in looking for a takedown but Hongtong manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Goodman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kob Khun Hongtong seems to be getting the better of the standup.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goodman misses with a left hand
and Hongtong counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A jab lands there for Hongtong.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Goodman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Goodman lands in his opponent's guard.

Goodman throws a big right hand that misses.
Goodman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hongtong swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hongtong wants to stand but Goodman is controlling the position.
Hongtong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Goodman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Goodman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goodman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Goodman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hongtong was well out of range. Poor timing from Goodman.

Goodman clinches up with Hongtong and pushes him back against the cage.

Goodman decides to pull guard.

Hongtong engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Goodman looking for a sweep. Not yet Goodman, not yet.
Goodman keeping moving, preventing Hongtong from controlling successfully.

Goodman looking for a guillotine here but Hongtong defends easily.
Hongtong sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Goodman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hongtong doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hongtong manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hongtong is posturing up here but Goodman has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hongtong tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hongtong has to tap! Slick submission there by Goodman!
