The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Demler pushes Ponce up against the cage in a clinch. Demler is defending well against a takedown attempt. Demler makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Demler scores with an uppercut up the middle. A nice glancing elbow lands by Demler. It looks like Jacob Ponce has been cut. Demler gets through Ponce's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Ponce is rocked! An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Demler. Ponce is still on wobbly legs! Can Demler finish him? Demler lands a hook to the side of the head. Demler lands a big right hand that drops Ponce! The killer instinct kicks in and Demler finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Demler!

With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Terrance Glover! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sepi Koli! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Koli, as that shot connected.
Koli connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Good leg kick by Koli. Glover is looking to land body kicks. Glover closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Glover on the wrong end of a nice jab. Glover takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nice jab there from Koli. Koli throws a one two combo.
Glover is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Koli plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Glover to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Glover just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sepi Koli! A relieved looking Sepi Koli thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morales pushes Lopez up against the cage in a clinch. Lopez looking for a takedown. Lopez has hold of one of Morales's legs. Morales is fighting the takedown attempt but Lopez gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Morales controlling Lopez's posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morales escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lopez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morales throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morales pushes Lopez off and scrambles back to his feet.
Lopez tries a head kick but it misses.
Morales rushes Lopez and presses him up against the cage. Lopez is pressed up against the cage. Morales has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lopez down to the mat. Lopez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Morales pushes Lopez up against the cage in a clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Morales. Morales manages to pull guard.
Lopez trying to control the position from guard on top but Morales is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morales has control of Lopez's left arm, preventing Lopez from doing any damage. Lopez tries to free his leg and advance position but Morales is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lopez being controlled here momentarily. Lopez trying to control but Morales is working from the bottom. Morales has his hands on Lopez's head, controlling the position. Lopez gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Morales moves into the clinch. Morales gets control of Lopez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Morales will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lopez wants to control from the top but Morales keeps moving. Lopez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lopez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Morales is refusing to be controlled, as Lopez sits in half guard. Morales really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lopez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Morales is looking to escape. Lopez prevents Morales from improving his position. Lopez looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Morales wants to get back to his feet. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Morales is staying active underneath Lopez, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Lopez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Morales smiles and moves away.
Morales rushes Lopez and presses him up against the cage. Morales manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Lopez being controlled here momentarily. Let's hope that Morales has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lopez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lopez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Morales has a closed guard, preventing Lopez from standing up. Morales tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lopez's corner is telling him to maintain position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Morales looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lopez is one step ahead there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lopez tries to clinch but Morales moves away and Morales makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Lopez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Morales shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lopez sprawls well. Lopez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Morales gets slowly back to his feet. Juan Lopez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lopez tries for a takedown but Morales circles away easily and Morales counters into the clinch. Nicely done. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Lopez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morales is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Morales has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lopez uses from the top position.

Morales is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Morales is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lopez is aware though and is defending well. Lopez stands up from guard. Let's bang! Lopez has a takedown stuffed. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Morales leaves Lopez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Lopez has his takedown stuffed and Morales counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Morales works his way into side control. Morales tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lopez avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Morales. Morales tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Morales has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Morales showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Lopez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Morales has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Morales throws a sloppy head kick and Lopez moves out of range easily. Morales throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Lopez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Morales swivels and escapes. Morales clinches up against the cage. Lopez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Morales is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lopez to the mat. Lopez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morales is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Morales is defended easily by Lopez. Lopez half committed to a counter leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lopez dives in and grabs Morales's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morales pushes down on Lopez's head and hops out. Morales throws a fast counter high kick but Lopez manages to duck under it in time. Morales avoids the head kick by Lopez.
Lopez fails with the takedown letting Morales counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Lopez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morales moves into range and clinches up with Lopez. Morales is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Morales decides to pull guard. Morales is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Tom Morales has got the better of the ground game so far. Morales lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morales tries to free his leg and advance position but Lopez is retaining full guard. Morales is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Morales is continuing to stall. Morales chips away with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Morales won't allow Lopez to sweep him here. Morales must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Morales stands and steps away. Lopez gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Lopez blocks a head kick by Morales.
Morales with a nice calf kick. Morales shoots in looking for a takedown but Lopez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Morales's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lopez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Morales closes the distance and pushes Lopez back into the cage. Juan Lopez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tom Morales is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Lopez trying to land knees to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Tom Morales comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Morales has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

This has been an exciting period of action! Hartford swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Van De Leide. Van De Leide shoots in and drives through. Hartford sprawls well. Hartford misses with a body kick. Van De Leide lands a nice hook to Hartford's body. Hartford takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Hartford went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Van De Leide connects with a body shot that sends Hartford's belly button to the back. Van De Leide clobbers Hartford with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Hartford throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Van De Leide throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hartford cracks Van De Leide with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Hartford lands with a cross.

Van De Leide sizes up Hartford with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Hartford throws a head kick that misses. Hartford blocks a jab. Hartford is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Hartford moves out of range of the body kick. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hartford. Van De Leide shrugs it off though. Hartford misses with a low kick.
Hartford scores with a kick to the midsection. Hartford thows a leg kick but Van De Leide checks it and Van De Leide counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A lazy left from Van De Leide finds it's target. Van De Leide throws a chopping leg kick but Hartford manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Van De Leide ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Van De Leide throws a poor cross that misses
and Hartford counters with a lovely straight right hand! Van De Leide is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hartford had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Van De Leide moves out of range of the body kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hartford throws a sloppy head kick enabling Van De Leide to counter with a crisp jab. Hartford throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A left lands for Van De Leide. Van De Leide throws a body kick that misses. Van De Leide needs to keep his hands up - Hartford had a free shot at his head there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hartford displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Van De Leide throws out the jab. Hartford keeps the fight on the outside. Hartford uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Van De Leide has time to react. Van De Leide scores with a jab to the body. Hartford takes one to the side of the head.

Hartford walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Van De Leide checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Van De Leide misses with a hook. Hartford ducked under it nicely. Stratton Hartford is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Van De Leide lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takahashi throws out a loose jab but Tucker uses good head movement to avoid it. Tucker misses with an uppercut. Takahashi misses with an uppercut
and Takahashi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Takahashi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Takahashi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tucker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Takahashi scrambles back to his feet. Takahashi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tucker circles away quickly and effectively. Takahashi clinches. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Takahashi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Tucker tries a body shot but Takahashi blocks it.

Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Fazekas takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
